Thousands of people drive up and down Fletcher Drive in the Elysian Valley part of Los Angeles every day, but very few people know that the street was used for one of the most iconic films of the 1990’s – Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction. If you’re a Tarantino-geek and you find yourself at Dodgers Stadium or over in Silverlake, just take a trip up Fletcher Drive and it’ll be like you’re on a movie set. Other than a coat of paint here and there, the area is pretty much the same as it was 15 years ago.
Marcellus Wallus (played by Ving Rhames) crossing the intersection of
Fletcher Drive and Atwater Ave. He must’ve gotten something from Fosters Freeze. Good choice!
This is where “Butch” played by Bruce Willis, gets broadsided by a Honda Civic going south on Fletcher.
The car ends up on the southwest corner of Fletcher and Atwater.

Bruce Willis hobbling past Mortarless Building Supply Co, located at 2707 Fletcher Drive. Los Angeles.
Still there!
He then turns onto Larga Street and ends up at Zed’s Pawn Shop which is 26 miles away in Canoga Park. It’s really called Crown Pawn Shop, and the address is 20933 Roscoe Blvd. Canoga Park, CA 91304. I’ll take a picture of it the next time I’m in the San Fernando Valley.
You could rent a truck from the same Uhaul that was in Pulp Fiction.
Pretty exciting, eh? C’mon, that’s what is what’s so great about Los Angeles!
Stay tuned for Part 2!

I’ve just stumbled across this article whilst being a bit geeky. I’m currently watching Pulp Fiction for about the 20th time, and I decided to pause at certain locations and try and find them on Google Earth – I looked up Mortarless Building Company and eventually got to this page – daft or what?!?! I’ll bookmark it anyway and learn a bit about LA in case one day I visit!
